Communicating to one another is language. How we communicate and use our body gestures is all part of language no matter what culture it is. People use and adapt to language as an infant and develop it as an adult. The language people use is depending on their culture and how many languages was taught. People can learn many different languages and speak all of them very clearly. Language is more than speaking it is how people learn and develop as an individual. Language
Language defines a person as an individual and their culture. Language is structured and has rules on how to communicate to people. According to Willingham, the sentences has to be correct and make sense. “The boy ran from the angry dog,” or “the dog ran from the angry boy,” (Willingham, 2007). It is only one sentence that is correct and it is the first one because the words in the sentence can come true. Language is forming sentences to tell a story about life or anything. A lot of people do that without even knowing. Once an infant is able to communicate he is telling a story about how his feelings or thoughts and that continues to adult hood. People use language to express their emotions and thoughts. Language help people to be different but at the same time be connected to society. It is a form of communication to speak and relate to others. Language can be spoken verbally, sign language, or body language. Language helps people full fill their wants and needs and to establish their culture. Each culture has its own language but two people from different cultures can talk to one another and understand what each other is saying. Language helps to protect different cultures by sounding different from one another but still forming some type of communication. Four levels of language
